As a partner BOCES in the eNetColorado project because we are offering a number of training opportunities this summer through the Intel Teach program that I wanted to make sure you are aware of.
We have scheduled 4 opportunities for districts to participate:
- June 3,4,10,11 Colorado Springs Hosted by District 11
- June 7,8, August 9 plus 1 day to be scheduled Pueblo Hosted by South Central BOCES
- June 15-16, August 10-11 Steamboat Springs Hosted by Northwest BOCES
- August 2-5 Adams 12 District, Thornton - Hosted by the Adams 12 Five Star
We can start registering participants for these upcoming Intel staff development sessions at: http://tinyurl.com/yj7qswm. Please see the flyer you can use to share with others on the staff development opportunities.
Let me know what questions you have as we start this process and explore how this staff development might support your efforts.
We have worked with the NW BOCES and the SC BOCES to have them serve as the regional Intel local education agency (LEA) to make the registration process easier for smaller districts. If you would like to discuss this opportunity please let me know. You can access the online LEA application process at: http://tinyurl.com/intelcolea
Please see the additional documents on the courses offered through eNetColorado and the Intel program. eNetColorado is also supporting staff development opportunities for districts offered through the Verizon Thinkfinity program. Both of these programs are supported by CDE and are excellent staff development programs that support a standards-based curriculum and project-based instruction.

Please take a look at www.enetcolorado.org for additional information about programs supported by eNetColorado.
NOTE: We can now provide all partner districts, and BOCES in eNetColorado a subscription to an Adobe Connect Pro web conferencing room at no cost to support your staff development efforts. There is information on the eNetColorado site on how to request a subscription the Adobe Connect can be requested. We will also in the process of developing a Colorado iTunes University portal for districts in Colorado to contribute to and access.
Please share these opportunities with your member districts and let us know how eNetColorado can assist to support you and the districts you serve.
We will be sending information directly to all partner districts but we wanted to first contact you and share where we are with the Intel course we are offering this summer, the availability of the Adobe Connect Pro web conferencing, and the launch of the new eNetColorado web site at www.enetcolorado.org
Again, more information is available at www.enetcolorado.org and we have a short survey on this site that we would like you to complete to give us feedback that will allow us to structure eNetColorado to meet the needs of BOCES and districts statewide.
Thanks and please let us know what questions and suggestions you might have.
