Colorado BOCES Association Action Plan
The Colorado BOCES Association recognizes that in order to build the capacity of Colorado's local school districts, it must build the capacity of each BOCES in Colorado. To accomplish that mission, CBA and it's Executive Directors have committed to developing, implementing and being accountable for an annual action plan.
Accountability: Executive Directors have agreed that progress on action items will be reviewed at each quarterly CBA meeting.
Resources: Resources for action steps at the Colorado BOCES Association level will be allocated through the annual CBA budget process and established priorities.
Improved Collaboration: BOCES leaders will work with the State Board of Education (SBE), the Commissioner of Education, the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), Higher Education Institutions, and Preschool Councils to develop a collaborative relationship that recognizes their unique, complementary roles and addresses issues, such as ongoing communications and funding. BOCES are in a unique position to align all educational agencies PK-20.
